Who Is SKB?
SKB has been manufacturing cases since 1977, starting in the music industry. Today they're one of the largest case manufacturers in the world, producing everything from guitar cases to military-spec equipment containers. Their factory in Orange, California uses injection-molded copolymer polypropylene — a material that's both impact-resistant and lightweight.
The iSeries: SKB's Flagship Line
The iSeries (also called 3i Series) is SKB's answer to Pelican and Nanuk. These are injection-molded, waterproof, dustproof cases with a gasket seal and trigger-release latches.

Guitar Cases
SKB practically invented the injection-molded guitar case. Their models cover acoustic, electric, bass, and classical guitars with form-fit interiors and TSA-compliant locks.

Rifle Cases
The 3i-series rifle cases feature custom-shaped interiors for single or double rifles. Models range from 36-inch to 50-inch interior length.
SKB vs. Pelican
SKB's trigger-release latches are easier to operate one-handed compared to Pelican's traditional pull latches. SKB cases also tend to run 10-20% less expensive at comparable sizes.
